Birmingham Museums & Art Gallery was opened in 1885 by the people of Birmingham to bring the art and history of the world to the people of Birmingham. Over the past 125 years it has collected works of art and objects of historical significance that span continents and millennia.

Highlights include the magnificent Pre-Raphaelite collection, extensive British watercolour collections and world class Renaissance and Baroque works including Bellini, Botticelli and Cranach.
